The modules are available at different levels to suit your own requirements (the most obvious levels are stated). Those listed below are a small sample of possibilities. The limit is imagination.

How big is it?

Using the farm to practice measurement and estimation. Can even extend to using figures collected to calculate the profits/losses of an enterprise such as egg production.

Making a cheese sandwich

Can be offered to meet a variety of curriculum needs. This programme involves making food from the farm products. It can be targeted at a variety of curriculum areas and ages ranging from following instructions, through, measurement, to microbes, healthy eating etc etc

Red KIte programme

Find out what the introduction of Sven and Ulrika to the Black Isle meant for Red Kites and why it was necessary. This programme will be developed with RSPB

Shetland Cattle

What can this rarest of cattle tell us about the way in which we use animals? Why did they decline and why should we want them to increase in population ?

Spinning and dyeing

Use fleece from our own sheep to make your own sheep and colour it using natural dyes

This module uses our building as a context for considering issues around what a sustainable building is and the way in which we use energy.
